We are Australia's third largest aviation company, employing over 1000 personnel across the country. National Jet Systems operates a mixed fleet of 30 aircraft on behalf of civil and government organisations providing a range of flexible passenger and freight services.

Passenger and Freight Services
National Jet Systems provides outsourced commercial aviation services to Qantas including:
  • Aircraft, pilots, cabin crew, line and heavy maintenance
  • Our aircraft, in Qantas livery fly more than 300 sectors per week, operating some 30,000 hrs a year
National Jet Systems provides dedicated aircraft, crews and maintenance to Australian air Express (AaE - a joint venture between Qantas and Australia Post)
  • Over 70 million kilos of air freight are carried
  • Our aircraft fly 7,000 flights and 12,000 hrs a year
Resource Industry Aerial Services
National Jet Systems provides remote location aerial services for large mining companies including blue chip companies: Rio Tinto, Santos, Newmont Mining, Newcrest, Anaconda and BHP Billiton.
We operate in some of the most difficult environments in the world, often with short runways and in very high temperatures (45°C +). Our flexible highly responsive service is supported by dedicated terminal facilities
Government Services
National Jet Systems provides air transport services on behalf of the Australian Department of Transport and Regional Services (DOTARS) and other organisations.
  • It is the sole provider of services to the remote Indian Ocean Territories of Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands, carrying 200 passengers a week.
Helicopter Provision and Support
UK based FB Heliservices, and Australian company National Air Support provide rotary wing support to government organisations.
Under contract to the UK Ministry of Defence, we provide rotary wing support to British Forces in Cyprus, Belize and Brunei. Cyprus was our first contract to provide a helicopter and support crew for an operational squadron. FB Heliservices provides Company owned aircraft plus engineering support for:
  • MoD Cyprus - aircraft for search and rescue and troop movements. -
  • MoD Belize - aircraft for MEDEVAC/CASEVAC and UK based aircrew training
  • MoD Brunei - aircraft for SAR/CASEVAC
National Air Support provides a Super Puma helicopter to the Australian led Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI). This provides search and rescue, logistics and quick response operations
